Travel to Italy & Travel Slow

Northern Tuscany & Cinque Terre – Chianti - Sorrento & Amalfi Coast

May & September 2023

Slow travel, the Italian Way as we Italians do, where courtesy, friendly hospitality and quality are the thread, places and spaces off the beaten path.”

Our “Private Italy Tour” begins at a family-owned farm house in Northern Tuscany, located on a strip of land off the beaten path, rich in medieval villages and castles, other farm houses, vineyards, and traditional recipes. It is close to Pisa and its well-known Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower.  We will also be near the famous Cinque Terre, five villages that have stood for generations isolated and reachable only by sea or by winding natural routes. Today it is a romantic hideaway.

We then travel to Tuscany's Chianti region. The Chianti region is beautiful in any season, but spring and autumn are the best times to visit because the landscape and climate are more pleasant and less crowded. The region of "Chianti" is located between Florence, Siena, and Arezzo.

A series of villages where time stands still, fortresses, churches and country & farm houses: a picturesque nature rich not only in beauty and history but also of unique and inimitable products, such as wine, extra virgin olive oil that have made this region famous worldwide.

We will stay in a Palazzo (historic house) in a medieval village. (no lift available.)

When on the Sorrento Coast the stay starts at a fishermen’s village nearly untouched by tourism or car traffic.  Accommodation in a cosy 3-star beach hotel which offers a unique incredible view of Capri Island, Naples Bay and a swimming pool. Not far from Sorrento and Capri, this unique location offers a few single options for you to choose from, in addition to enjoying swimming in warm, crystal clear waters.

Transfer by private van to Scala, the most ancient village overlooking Ravello, located on the Amalfi Coast. We will again stay at an historic 3-star hotel, each room with a balcony and a view. (no lift available)

Wish to join us? We travel with small groups only 6/8 people.

For any further information, please contact us, shall be glad to hear from you!

Arrivederci, Mic & Simo
