Travel slowly "The Italian Way”—what does this mean?
When we introduce our travels and describe our travel style, we say:
"We travel slowly, the Italian way. A stress-free trip with flexibility and customized possibilities. A trip to relax and enjoy the magical Italian life that is still alive in little villages, or as we say, "La Dolce Vita”.
At BellaVia, It means we travel deep, taking our time between "must-see" locations while enjoying more authentic, local experiences.
We do not visit 13 places in 14 days; rather, we allow our guests time to rest after a long journey. As a result, we stay at a winery-farmhouse for the first three days, where you may relax around a swimming pool and enjoy peace and calm away from tourist crowds. Freshly made brunch and an amazing dinner, with wine included, are also essential.
A delicious brunch is always offered throughout the tour.
However, for those who are interested, we still provide the chance to explore surrounding locations. We refer to them as "single options."
What do we mean by "single option"?
Our "travel slow" concept allows our customers to discover Italy at their own pace and how they wish to experience it. Consequently, depending on your interests and preferences, we provide a variety of "single options" for visiting locations surrounding our hotels. The single options are planned and booked the day before, and then settled on the spot.
We DO NOT visit 13 cities in 14 days because we think a vacation is not a race. And even if you would race across the country on a check-list basis, you can only add up to 10 or 20 "essential" locations to a "must-see" list; that is probably only 1% of the Italian "must-see" sites.
The "Italian Way" is a travel style, a way to enjoy the magical Italian life, still alive in small towns and villages off the beaten path, where life is slow and rich in tradition; in three words "La Dolce Vita".
