Happy Valentine!

Live show Cooking Lesson – “Aphrodisiac Dinner”

The Italian Mediterranean Diet tradition can also be followed when preparing a delicious and "aphrodisiac" (Aphrodite Greek goddess of Love) dinner to celebrate your Valentine's Evening, particularly for "seenagers" like me.

The menu I proposed for this special cooking class is primarily based on sea food, fresh vegetables, gluten free carbs, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh fruit, paired with the most romantic wine by definition, Sparkling "Champagne".

Why did I select these lovely ingredients?

I suggested fresh oysters with a squeeze of lemon and/or a vinaigrette of sparkling citrus vinegar and minced shallots, because, oysters are known to contain zinc, which is beneficial to men's energy.

Then a Risotto with champagne, shrimps, and zucchini, as this dish contains carbs to give you energy, gluten free for people who may suffer allergies, shrimps for proteins, omega 3, and zucchini for the proper fiber content, which is good for digestion.

To finish the meal, I recommended a green spring salad with E.V.O.O. and fresh strawberries dressed with aged balsamic vinegar to enhance the flavor of the berries.

Finally I offered a suggestion , cook a dinner for your Valentine it’s the best gift you may offer.

Buon San Valentino a tutti.

Thank you for following, enjoy!
